Landscape Division Maintenance Manager

Exciting career opportunity with a growing company! Now recruiting for a team leader responsible for the management of landscaping maintenance accounts, labor, equipment and materials. This individual will need to provide support for customers and manage all field operations within the division.  Interviewing immediately for experienced full-time maintenance manager.

Prairie View Landscaping & Nursery, Inc. has been serving the Bismarck, Mandan and surrounding areas since we were founded in 2005. We employ a team of about 100 talented professionals across four main divisions. Our full range of services includes commercial and residential landscape design and installation, landscape maintenance, irrigation service, aggregate and soil delivery, excavating, and commercial snow removal. In addition to the landscaping side of our business, Prairie View is also a grower of premium nursery stock on about 60 acres. Administrative headquarters located in Baldwin, ND about 6 miles north of Bismarck. The nursery supplies plant material to landscapers and retail customers, as well as providing for all our own landscaping projects. Salary: $65K - $100K per year

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Successfully close sales opportunities through timely estimating and effective market based bidding
  • Provide customer service via phone, email and site visits
  • Understand contract specifications and ensures they are met
  • Maintains customers complete satisfaction
  • Provide instruction to ensure crews are prepared to complete the job
  • Manage production schedules
  • Maintains sufficient staff to accomplish production schedules and analyze future needs, forecasting staffing and material needs to meet sales projections
  • Develop and manage yearly budgets and forecasting sales
  • Make recommendations for equipment or other asset purchases based upon targeted goals and operational needs
  • Work with other company management to establish overall objectives regarding sales, production, profits, quality and staff development
  • Coordinate the use of labor, equipment, materials and other resources with all divisions as needed


·  Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years of relevant business experience

·  Minimum 5 years management and supervisory experience in related field

·  Basic accounting knowledge and profit orientation

·  Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, desired)

·  Strong time management skills

·  Excellent written and oral communication skills

·  Extremely detail-oriented and resourceful

·  Outgoing personality with a positive attitude
